The golden hour is the magic time one hour after sunrise and
one hour before sunset when the land is bathed in golden-pink
light - the best time to be at this ledge overlooking Lake Waramaug.
Cache is in a cammo'd lock-and-lock box well hidden in Connecticut's equivalent of a slot canyon. Please use caution retrieving cache - slippery rocks, and steep drop offs. Cache should be readily visible as you get within a
few feet of it. Please look carefully at the top for the safest way to the cache site!
Accuracy at the final was 16 feet.
Park at Macricostas preserve and follow Pinnacle trail. Parking is in a lot next to the red salt-box off Christian street. Total hike will be about three miles, no need to
bushwack...
Locals will know of the access on June Road.
Congratulations to Walkaboutlost on a bloody FTF...
