Geocache Description:

The cache is in a formerly disused quarry at 144m altitude.

The quarry is at the top of the Haul Road out of Granville Ferry. There is parking at the gate at N44º 46.470' W65º 30.796' (J06P1). From there it is 1.2 km on foot or bike. The cache is on the east side ot he quarry. The "No Trespassing" sign appears to refer to the west side.

Originally the cache was on the west side of the quarry some 16m above the base from which there was a good view of the Annapolis Valley, with the village of Granville Centre in the foreground and Moschelle beyond the river, which at this point acts as the head pond for the Annapolis Tidal Generating Station. A similar view can be obtained by walking around the east side of the quarry.
