CITO is not just for Earth Day anymore!
When: Sunday, 15 October, 2006, 9:00am to 12:00pm.
This project will remove a large debris field within the park. This
is in an area many people never get to see. The access route is
about a 1 mile walk over a relatively flat woods road. Please bring
gloves, water, and snacks or a lunch. This is a great chance to
show your support for the land managers that support Geocaching.
The above coordinates are for a map kiosk at the start of Cedar
Trail. The woods road access is not far away. There will likely be
some parking available closer to the clean up site and details will
be posted at the kiosk. Alternately, parking and information will
also be available at the summit. October is the start of hunting
season, but don't worry, Maine does not allow Sunday hunting!!
