Geocache Description:

Bald head island, nature trail-Mitchell marsh trail

Contains small toys and a log book. Part of the fun is enjoying the island itself. This trail is near the middle of the island's north road, entrance to this trail is clearly marked with a small shelter and description of fiddler and blue crabs, just past the road named after blackbeard's partner and before the road containing blackbeard's real name. enter trail, follow arrows and signs to the left until the small island with the sabal palm greeting you, go right , follow marsh trail to bench then only 40 feet into woods under a small log and debris, easy to find this flat plastic lure container with black camo tape, enjoy the walk and see the rest of the trails. How many species of oak can you find?
