I have long been fascinated by these Tall Poppies as no doubt many people have been as they navigate a major arterial roundabout. With nowhere to stop safely within 200m a special effort is required to go check it out.
At the coordinates S43° 29.628 E172° 42.077 there is a memorial where you are required to find information to calculate the coordinates for the cache. It would be an excellent cache to find after either one of three caches within walking or cycling distance along the path through the reserve land. (GC9D10) by Sallies (GCG63R) by High Flyers and (GC7D29) by BaldEd. The cache is hidden beside a walkway in the same area. You do not have to cross a road.

Cache when hidden was a green tinted 800ml sistema container. Contents included log, stashnote, pencil, pencil sharpener and items to swap. Not for swapping is a plastic bag with 2 poppies in it which you might like to add too.
