Geocache Description:

A geocaching get together for all!

ZSandmann and Wife cordially invite you to a picnic in the park and general geocaching shenanegans at Veteran's Park in Lafayette, Louisiana. (DOOR PRIZE EVENT PLANNED!)

Sunday September 24th 11am - Until. Veteran's Park picnic shelters by the lake.

Pot Luck Lunch Style: Please bring a side or dessert or any other picnic related items. Mention in your log what you will bring and I will keep a list.

The picnic area has charcoal grills, so BYOM (bring your own meat). I will provide charcoal. No electricity that I saw unless there are ground boxes I missed.

BAMBOOZLE: Brownies
BigDoggy: KFC Bucket
Henki: Potato Salad
GoldDustman: Chips/Dip
Mother, Juggs, and Speed: Dessert / side
Pyromaniacs III: Kitty Litter Cake??? (mmmm kay :D)
ZSandmann and Wife: Pasta Salad, Charcoal, paper and flat ware.

***Please Don't forget to bring your own meat to through on the grill.***

You may wish to bring fold out chairs for extra seating. If anyone has a portable picnic table please let me know.

A nice kid-friendly park, includes small dog park, playground, pier for fishing, small pond with ducks, and a small veteran's memorial. There are also two covered picnic shelters I plan on using.
