This is a simple two-leg multi with a small camo plastic container. There are small trade items and a log. The cache is a short distance from the monument.
The coordinates listed will take you to a large monument honoring Confederate soldiers from Greene County, Alabama. Information on the monument will give you the coordinates for the cache. DO NOT SEARCH AROUND THE MONUMENT. Nothing in the cemetary will need to be disturbed to get the cache.
Your new North coordinate is 32 51.0XX. You will need to find the numbers of the units to which four soldiers were attached to determine XX. Total the numbers for the following and add 25 to the total:
Capt. Perrin ___
Jos. Perry ___
Capt. Pickens ___
Col. Winston ___
Total ___ plus 25 equals __ __. Replace XX with this new total.
The West coordinate is 087 54.0YY. To get YY, count the total number of soldiers listed from Abrams to Cross, inclusive. Substitute this number for YY. Your new coordinates are

This should take you to a row of metal markers placed in honor of the soldiers. You will need to make a short trip into the woods to find the cache (less than 10 yards). Deer and wild turkeys are common to these woods. I came upon two deer as I was scouting this area for the cache. You might find ample "evidence" of their existence in both the cemetary and the woods. As with most cemetaries, there are many interesting grave markers. Take some time and look around. The oldest part of the cemetary is the area where the monument and cache are located.
