We are placing this cache to commemorate the birthdays of two machines that have had a tremendous impact on our entire lives, and without which Geocaching probably would not exist. We are talking about the IBM PC, which is 25 years old this year, and the Apple Computer, which will be 30 years old next year. (See the link above for more information.) The cache is starting off with all computer related items such as memory, modems, cables, a router, etc., (they're not brand new, but they work) and we would like to keep that theme going, so if you trade, please leave a similar item. (Birthday cards and Travel Bugs are OK, too.)
Note: As of 02/23/08 someone took our large container and all it's computer swag, so we decided to replace it with a small Rubbermaid container in hopes that it will be left alone. It now only has room for very small items.
The posted coordinates are for parking. There is a nice trail into the woods from here. If a computer were to tell you where to find the cache, it might say:
