Yes, the coordinates are correct! This is a Degree Confluence
cache. Why else would you come here? Well, because it’s the land of
Robert Frost, that’s why. I hope you’ll stop by and read a poem or
two.
“Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”
-Robert Frost
Enjoy these woods, but caution is advised. This is not a cache for the weak. Getting there? Well, if you really need directions, I’d be happy to supply them, but here, I’m only going to give you a starting point. The rest is up to you. Please don't try to drive in too far. This is a fragile forest and despite the need to do some bushwhacking at the end, the walk in is beautiful.
Pictures are encouraged- especially those showing the exact coordinates. We DID get two GPSrs to each read N44 00.000, W073 00.000! The actual cache hiding spot required a little "poetic license", but it's darn close!
