Treasure Hunters Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

GrangerFam: In honor of nearly a year since it was last found, I wanted to check on this cache. Unfortunately, the final was missing and the redirect at WP1 was broken.

So, it is with much sadness that I will archive this cache and open up the area to, hopefully, another cache in the near future.

Geocache Description:

This cache gives a nod (no, I wouldn't call it a tribute) to the recently aired "reality" program, Treasure Hunters. We were mostly entertained by the antics and post-game comments from each of the teams. At times, all of the teams acted as if they had rocks in their heads, but the below mentioned teams took the cake for us.

Southie Boys - Didn't know how to read a card catalog, then got really lucky opening the cryptex, when they weren't cussing at / fighting with each other. We nicknamed them the "Beastie Boys".

Fogal Family - Had one of the most annoying family members on the planet. She brought an artform to primal screaming. I would have slapped her early and often. The other teams coined the phrase, "You got Fogaled!", when they chose to speed by the other teams who were trying to work together. This, ultimately proved their downfall as the other teams tried to out-Fogal the Fogals.

Wild Hanlons - I think they were actually from Arkansas, but wanted a little "street cred" and claimed to be from Texas. When they couldn't figure out the puzzle, they spied on the other teams. Sad.

Perhaps it was just the editing (I mean, they could make anyone look stupid, if they wanted to), but I suspect we saw a lot of the real personalities. This is why I will never sign up for anything like this myself!

The cache:

Find the final coordinates, and you will find the treasure.

At the WP1 (coordinates listed above), you will find an object. But what?

It will have only the coordinates to WP2. But where?

There will be a FTF. But who?

I will stop using this annoying, fake, radio voice. But when?

Congratulations to the Geniuses for the win on the show, and to MTP for this cache.

Consider all of the other FTF'ers in the area challenged.
