Bear Man Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This Traditional Cashe is located in J.P. Nicely Memorial West Falls Park. The trails for this park begin at the tree line on the far side of the of the baseball fields (closer to Field #1).

We have color coded the ‘reassembly’ of the cache for your ease. Please take the time to replace as found.

Don’t forget that Bears are good at hiding, but when you see a Bear you know you are looking at a Bear.
The trails are in great shape and the ‘Bear Man’ is hiding within 20’ of the trail. It can hardly be called bushwhacking to reach the cache. Definitely a kid friendly cache. Just be careful of kids as the cache overlooks a beautiful spot on the West Branch of the Cazenovia Creek. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the area. It is also a great area to x-country ski or snowshoe in the winter.

You will ultimately find a 50 cal. Ammo Box hopefully keeping a stache ‘Bear’ related items dry.

We have put the following in the cache to start with: magnetic bear, Pooh’s First Word Card Game, 2 packs of Pooh stickers, Pooh balloon, bear business card holder, small bear figurine, bear notepad, bear patch, Birthday Bear, Christmas Bear, and Bear dice.
Please maintain the bear theme, trade fairly, and age appropriately. Your cooperation will be appreciated by all.

There is also a small present and cache card for everyone and a FTF prize.

Be careful that you don’t get lulled into thinking that there are no muggles around. Although, there are not many muggles in the park, they a good at sneaking up on you.

Warning: Do Not get confused by something you might have misinterpreted on this page.

This is our first cache, a definite beginner. Please leave your feedbacks.

Don't miss 'Nicely Done?' in the same park
