Visiting from out of town?
New to geocaching? Been around for a while? Come and meet
others. Meeting time is 6:30 pm PLEASE RSVP WITH NUMBERS SO I CAN RESERVE YOU A
SEAT The get together will be set for the
last Tuesday of every month so mark the calendar now. Family
friendly, all are welcome.
Great way to meet, swap bugs, coins
and stories. Maybe get into a deep discussion on the meaning of
life, or find some help on a troubling geocache.
This location is the Mexicali
Rosa's (Dow's Lake) 1001 Queen Elizabeth Drive. There is 2hr free
parking
across the street, bring parking stub in to get validated. It is a
short walk from the O-Train and buses along Carling
Ave.
If anyone want to go
after, oink GCTFGQ, you can rent boats at the meeting location and
paddle over, just give yourself time. Redwing Blackbird is also
short walk away.
The September monthly meet is as
usual last Tuesday 6:30 so September

The October one falls on the
31st and is close to the GAG on the 21st. As I have young children
I can not host this month. After talking to others it looks like
Octobers will be cancelled (Inless
someone offers to host a adult only pub night if so email me please
and I will share info with you)
Novembers will be the last
Tuesday so November 28th.
Decembers falls on Boxing Day. I
am going to assume most people will have other plans for this day
Therefore I am going to bump Decembers up a week to
December 19th. This way I hope
people
are still around.
For December are people
interested in doing a gift
(under 5$) exchange or have some kind of award ceremony? (best
cache story of the year, best cache hidden in 2006, etc.) if
awards
lets come up with a list and a nomination list. I will take top
5
per award and we can vote on top one. More info to follow on
December.
