No Question, Support Our Troops Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ninja Reviewer: As there has been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

A large AMMO CAN in Chapin, SC, but not at the above coords.

We wanted to show our support for our troops past and present and place a cache in honor of every Midlands Geoholic's favorite Marine, Llatnek. As MSgt Paul Woyshner said "Once a Marine, always a Marine", which brings us to the puzzle. You must determine the year in which the following Marine Corps quotes were made. 1."You don't hurt 'em if you don't hit 'em." _ _ A _. 2."I have just returned from visiting the Marines at the front, and there is not a finer fighting organization in the world." _ _ B _. 3."Casualties many; Percentage of dead not known; Combat efficiency; we are winning." _ _ _ C. 4."The raising of that flag on Suribachi means a Marine Corps for the next 500 years." _ _ D _. 5."Retreat H*ll! We've just got here!" _ _ _ E. 6."Retreat H*ll! We're just attacking in another direction." _ _ _ F. Coords are 34 09.ABC 081 20.DEF. There is a special gift in the cache for Llatnek. The area is thick and your readings may be weak, but it is a BIG can with lots of goodies. Enjoy the hunt and support our troops, and if you CITO that would be nice too. Placed with permission of the Chapin Town Clerk.
