Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache for the children. If you take a toy, please replace with another of equal appeal to children. The idea is for little ones to find some treasure and not rubbish!
As it is in the woods, GPS reception isn't brilliant but the 'Treasure Map' should give you all the help you need to find the hoard.

The Dartmoor Pixie is off on his holidays to America. He has never been away from home before so he would like you to check that his home is safe and hasn't been moved into by his cousins, the Pesky Pisgies.
Before he left he hid some toys near his home in the forest for you to find and also to scare away his cousins in case they are nearby.

He drew you a map to follow to find the hidden hoard of toys and would like you to take one as a reward for finding it and making sure his home is still safe.

You must enter the enchanted forest through the gate over the bridge from the car park. Follow the path which goes along the riverside and you will soon reach "Boulder Gully". If you can get through all the boulders and up the hill you will come to a stile. Over this you must climb and follow the path through the two leaning trees which is the start of Pixies' lands. Follow the windy path and you will come to "Step Mountain" It is no longer safe to attempt the climb to the summit of Step Mountain so you will have to walk around and over the wall.
From the other side of Step Mountain you must turn to your right and follow a small path through the forest until you see the big fallen tree whose branches are touching the wall. Pixies house is under the roots of the fallen tree and the treasure is very close by.

There is usually an ice cream van in the car park and as an extra reward for finding yet another cache for Mum and Dad, they must buy you whichever one you want.
