How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A fairly straightforward themed cache. Depending on the route taken the ground can be a little steep - definitely not for strollers.

This is a themed cache placed by one of the members of Manylegs. The theme, as the name suggests is boys' toys.

They say that the only difference between boys' toys and mens' toys is that men's toys are bigger and more expensive.

The cache itself is fairly easy to find, being placed in the Hermitage of Braid. Either park in the Blackford Hill car park and approach from that side or for a slightly longer walk, park near the entrance to the Hermitage on Braid Road. It is a decent sized tupperware lock box. There are some steep slopes in the vicinity, so some care is required when approaching. Tree coverage will likely play havoc with the GPS signal, so look for a typical geocache hiding place.

There are a couple of other multi-caches in the vicinity if you want a longer expedition.

The replaced cache contains a few toys that boys and perhaps even girls might enjoy playing with. Please swap for similar items. (A girls' toys cache will follow later before anyone accuses us of being sexist.)

A new Ferrari unfortunately won't fit in the box, but do feel free to leave the keys and perhaps the coordinates of where to find it.
