Badger's Sett Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

4 Badgers: Well, this cache has been in place now for almost 6 years, so I think it's time I archived it to make way for something new.

Thanks to all the visitors! Hope you enjoyed the walk!

Geocache Description:

This is a short multi-cache along the River Wey Navigation which can be easily combined with weyside wander (GCHYEF).

The co-ordinates above are for the pub car park, where there is (nearly always!) ample free space to park.

Begin by noting the year on the sign by the lock at N 51°19.332 W 000° 29.374 – these are letters A, B, C and D

Now look at the warning sign by the bridge (showing the weight limit in tonnes) and note the number which is E.F

The final cache co-ordinates are:

N 51° 19. (A+B+C+D - 7) 34 W 000° 29. (E+F - 8) 87

Take a gentle stroll along the towpath to the cache, but beware of boating and walking muggles when you reach the cache site! You are looking near the water's edge for a camouflaged 1 litre tupperware box which, when hidden, contained logbook and pen/pencil, a few small trinkets and a TB.

Please ensure the cache remains well hidden. Thanks!
