Geocache Description:

This is a multi clue cache located around the historic village of Tutbury. There are a number of free car parks in the village but the best starting point would be the one on Duke Street.

Tutbury is a large village of about 3,000 residents surrounded by the agricultural countryside of Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

It is 5 miles north of Burton upon Trent and 20 miles south of the Peak District.

Cut glass was manufactured here for many years and a tourist trade has built upon the long and distinguished history of the Norman Priory Church and Medieval Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was once imprisoned.

There are some fine Georgian and Regency buildings and the
half-timbered Dog and Partridge Hotel (recommended as a good lunch spot). There are antique and craft shops in the village as well as glassworks factory shops and high fashion boutiques.

1. The first clue is at;
N52 51.334

A = third digit + last digit

2. Now move to the second clue, located at the following co-ordinates;
N52 51.426

How many lions can you see? (NB - the lions appear to have gone off on their annual skiing holiday to Aspen so, a little clue for you - same number of lions live here as there are on the England football shirt!)

Y = number of lions
C = number of lions left if one runs away

Again, if open, take time to have a look around this beautiful historic spot.
