Jersey Flats Prairie - On Highway SS, 1/4 mile west of the village of New Prospect. This restored prairie is a glacial outwash plain. This area is designated as a Wisconsin Wildlife Viewing Area and is included in the national "Watchable Wildlife" program.
For the Kettle Moraine, this is a nice flat walk. No trails just lots of tall grasses. The cache is a cammo taped coffee can loaded with the usual trinkets and goodies. The safest parking coordinates are N43 36.987 W088 11.261 however a fee is required to park here unless you have a state park sticker on your vehicle. Closer parking is available along CTY HWY G along the west side of Jersey Flats Prairie. Smokey the Bear might be a good place to park too.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Nothern Kettle Moraine State Forest Headquarters of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
