Pig Farm Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CTYankee9: Had a good run, but may be a bit too close to fence for most people's comfort. Thanks all that visited.

Geocache Description:

Fairly easy walk from the closest parking area on Monument Road prior to entering the Borderfield State Park gate. The cache is child orientated.

Level walk on an unimproved road to this cache, no vehicles allowed in this area and it is only available during daylight hours when the park is open. As with all caches in this area there is a Border Patrol presence and you may be approached as asked what you are doing there. Also this cache may be seasonal, there has been past problems with flooding along Monument Road, but as you approach the cache you will see some holding ponds that have been put there to help with the flooding. This area used to be a goat farm. I've included some bug repellent and sun screen, should you have forgotten yours.
