Geocache Description:

Established in 1738 by members of The Hopewell Friends on land owned by Richard Beeson II. The original stone wall around the cemetery was built in 1822 and rebuilt in 1999.

Please park in the coordinates provided and walk into the cemetery proper. As with all cemetery caches respect for the deceased is paramount. The stone walls surrounding the cemetery are mostly dry stacked with small amounts of mortar used as a bonding agent where needed. NO part of the wall itself needs to be moved to find the cache.

The container you are seeking is a small sized lock and lock containing a couple of stash note/logsheets as well as some small swag. Please rehide it well when finished.

To claim this cache:

1.) Find the cache.
2.) Sign the log.

While not necessary to claim a "find" on this cache those who wish to may choose to do the following ALR actions.

3.) Post a photo of you with your GPSr in hand and the cemetery marker in the background.
4.) Answer the following question via e-mail. Please don't post your answer in the logs so that others who choose to may also enjoy the search!

1.) What is the name of the deceased on the only gravestone in this cemetery?
