Esprit Park is a 1.8 acre park, located between 19th & 20th Streets, on the east side of Potrero Hil. Esprit, Inc., constructed the park more than 20 years ago, and subsequently donated it to the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. The park includes picnic tables, fitness equipment and a beautiful central lawn. The lawn is informallly split into two parts, separated by some redwood trees and shrubs. There are numerous other trees, flowers and shrubs throughout the park. It is a terrific area to relax and to walk your dog when gale force winds are blowing at Ft. Funston. The park reopened in July 2006 after extensive renovation. It is enjoyed by parents with small children, people with dogs, and those simply seeking a quiet spot. 2 blocks from 3rd st. bus and light rail.
The cache is an army green decon container 4"x3"x2", "salted" with a few small items.
Due to trees and my old Garmin, the coords were hard to get. If you have trouble locating the spot, let me know.
