Buckden Rake was once a Roman road that led to the fort at Bainbridge in Wensleydale. Hundreds of years later in the 18th and 19th centuries limestone was quarried beside it. This cache can be included with others to make a wonderful circular walk, with a short deviation to the 'Packhorse Way'. If you want to bag all seven of the caches we have hidden in the area the waypoint names are in order below. The trail is about 8 miles long starting at Buckden National Park car park (charge).
