This cache is located in the Avery Park Subdivision off of Hwy 29 north out of Newnan.
The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien was one of my most favorite books as a youngster. It deals in fun and fantasy, life and death, loneliness and fellowship. All the ingredients needed for a wonderful book.
As we follow Bilbo and the dwarves along the trail, they become the unexpected guest of three woodland folks. Their names are William, Tom and Bert. This event happens in Chapter 2, “Roast Mutton”.
The first thing you need to know is what kind of woodland creatures are these three? Take the sum of the numeric value of the letters in the word (A=1, B=2...ect) and add to 464. Plug this number in the these coords….. N33 24.XXX
Second, what were they turn into that enabled our friends to escape? Take the sum of the numeric value of the letters in this word and subtract it from 758. Plug this number in to these coords…. W084 47.XXX.
