Geocache Description:

Another letterbox from Blackvelvetrav hidden in the Little Penguin viewing area.

September is Save the Koala month and Sep 7th national threatened species day. Kiah is visiting her friends the penguins who are settling into their nests for the spring. She is helping them to clean up the area of a few things that can entangle and poison swimming birds like plastic and cigarettes. Although the area is not particularly dirty it would be good cammo to bring your gloves and help the wildlife with a quick CITO especially of toxic ciggie butts. This is a lovely quiet area during the day but busy in the spring and summer evenings with penguin watchers. Cache is heavily cammoed and extremely obscured by bark to avoid being cleaned up with the inevitable rubbish that accumulates in such a high traffic area - it is in the courtyard area under a large poa grass clump. Travel baby wipes box - was pink.
