Short fun hike.
Since we became familiar with geocaching because of letterboxing, we want to place a letterbox hybrid for all of you to find. There are 2 bags in the cache-one is for letterboxers and one for cachers. Cachers can ignore the stamp and letterbox book. There is also typical swag in the cache.
You will have to travel about 1 mile round trip on foot through a canyon that will be familiar to cachers in the area. It is a great short hike. Follow the wash to the cache.
To get to the place you can park, you will need a high clearance vehicle.
You will also might need to do a little stone scrambling. Try to be kind to the environment.
Bring water and all the usual desert stuff. You could have a picnic there if you want. Others have been there.
