This Cache is located not to far from the new bike path in Barre Town, VT.
This is our FIRST hide, it was placed to celebrate our 90 day anniversary in this wonderful game. After placing the cache (before activating) we found out about the “Before the Snow Flies” Geo-Event. We contacted DJ and Cal and Yoopers , and because the close proximity to the event we decided to Activate in conjunction. Both myself and my wife served in the Military, I was Navy she was a Marine. We have the patriotic spirit running through our blood, and dedicate this cache to all those who now and have ever served this country. The theme to the cache is Americana , The beginning inventory is Red, White and Blue, due to the fact that the cache is kind of a surprise to the event we know that it will not remain theme related long, but we hope that as time goes by, visitors will help restore the theme.

Here are some directions for folks without GPSers
From the Barretown Recreation Facility shelter, walk SE to the bike path just beyond the outhouses.
Go SW on the bike path for about 500 yards until you cross a nice wide concrete bridge. Then turn left (east) and go across a wooden VAST trails snowmachine bridge. From the wooden bridge go up trail about 110 yards to find the cache hidden on your right.
