Forest Walk Traditional Cache

Located in Bowater's Demonstration Forest off the 25th Sideroad. A pleasant stroll through a planned forest.
The Thunder Bay Spacing Trial Demonstration Forest was started by Great Lakes Paper Co in 1951 to show how different spacings affect the growth of various types of tree. Walk through a forest of white and black spruce, and white and jack pine. Descriptive signs are located along the side of the trail. The cache is a medium-sized jar covered with camo tape hidden in a small white spruce at the northern part of the forest. Keep going on the path and enjoy the walk!
