We will be having our First Monday In Beaumont Event on October 2, 2006 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Gander Mountain lodge room in Beaumont, Texas.
What better way to meet the area cachers than to have an informal event. We all enjoy getting to tell our geocaching stories and ask questions we may have, we get so involved that our time is gone before we know it. We will be discussing the SETX Gangs get together that will be on October 21, 2006 at Claiborne Park near Vidor. Please start thinking about what you will bring so we can try to get an idea what will still be needed. Please check out our website at setxgang.com to keep up with what our gang is doing.
The ribbon and beads activity is still going well. If you have not started this and would like to, it is never too late. Just count up the caches you have found, hid, not found or first to find since last months event. There is a different kind of bead for each as well as one for bringing a new cacher to the event. The ribbon you get for attending. Some of our walking sticks are getting heavy and very colorful.
