This cache will
have a multi purpose in a way. One to have a cache close to my
home coordinates, second to add more fun to the area, and
third even have the chance to get a few waymarks while you are
in town if you are into that part. Do a waymark search on that
site for postal code 65604 and it will come up with a
bunch.
Nothing to historic or special about the cache itself but the area
is full of history, and there are a few more traditional caches in
the area that you can grab while you are here. Main street has a
few things to offer also, there is a restaurant, bar, historical
museum, library, antique shop, candle shop, music shop, art shop,
and a few others…..
The cache is hidden outside, so you won’t have to worry about time
limits, it will be available 24/7. If you have been caching a long
time it will become obvious where the cache is, if not, you might
have to have help with the hint. There should be room in there for
A LOT OF GOODIES. Main Street can be very busy at times, so watch
for muggles. There is plenty of sitting room and even a little
table to rummage thru the goodies. Most of the stores/shops in the
area know I am hiding one here so they won’t call the local police
on ya.
There is also a couple WiFi Hotspot here in this area. I am working
on of my own and should be up and running correctly by the time
this cache hits the net. So if you are like me and like to have
your PSP or Laptop with you, it really helps when searching or
logging that find fast, or even to hunt for the next closest if you
haven't already programmed your GPS.
Original contents are in two butter dish's and will be, Autograph
Baseball Card from Don Demeter 1963 Detroit Tigers, Trackable
Dollar, GeoCoin, Calculator, 4 or 5 key rings, ALOT of Beanie
Babies, and who knows what all else, filled to the rim. So FTF will
have a chance for a nice prize.
** The owner of
the building and proprietor of the store granted permission
for this hide. Be sure to step in and say hi to my mom while
you are there if it's open, hours should be Tue-Sat 10am to
4pm, (Nedra) She is the one that thought it would be neat to
have one here. She likes to meet and talk to people.
