Forty miles from the nearest town, but a beautiful view of the west side of the Wah Wah Mountains and Pine Valley. Best access is to start from Highway 21. You may want to pack a lunch!
It does not require 4WD unless it is muddy or snow is deep. Sedan access is not impossible but it is rough and dusty for a car. I'd recommend a SUV or truck to be safe. There are a lot of miles on a dirt road, but the cache is only a short hike from the road.
