This was originally designed as a field puzzle, with information to be obtained from brochures and interpretive signs at the parking area. Now that they are no longer available you'll need to do a little research before visiting the Lake County Demonstration Forest (LCDF).

H = # of letters in current name of gravel pit
I = # of letters in last name of homesteader
J = # of letters in name of LCDF location ( _____ Grade)
K = # of rivers flowing through the Forest
L = # of railroads that hauled ore and timber from the land
