Geocache Description:

A simple hide in the fields of North Kingstown

Ryan park is located just off Route 4 in North Kingstown. There are two sides to the park. The East side, which is very busy with Fishermen on Belleville Pond, hikers and athletes playing ball on the various ball fields. You can find 2 caches hidden on the East side.

This cache however, is hidden in the less-visited West side of the park. The park is long and narrow and runs parallel to the pond to the East and route 4 to the West. There is a simple beauty to the area which is largely made up of fields and wild flowers. You will find wooded paths if you venture toward the pond, just beware the motocross bikers using a homemade track. The main trail is popular with joggers and horseback riders. Beware of any pony-pies while you walk. Also, don't be surprised if you see deer hidden in the tall grass.

The cache is the standard ammo box hidden just off the main trail about 0.4 miles from the parking area. Minor bushwhacking will be necessary near the hide. This cache is kid and dog friendly. This cache should be accessible in Winter unless there is deep snow. The parking area is not gated but it is posted as open only Dawn to Dusk

Congratulations to Jejohn for being the First to Find
