Buffalo Creek Traditional Cache
five5: I'm gonna have to archive this one, sorry. It made a great TB spot, but unfortunatley there are to many muggles now using my childhood haunt...I will try to find another nearby spot to place a cache along this beautiful creek...

Buffalo Creek is approximately 28 miles long. Its watershed or drainage area covers 85,760 acres or 134 square miles. The watershed includes the central part of Union County and a small portion of eastern Centre County . Parts of 9 townships in Union County and 2 in Center County are included, with two boroughs--Mifflinburg and Lewisburg--and several rural villages--Cowan, Mazeppa, Forest Hill, Vicksburg , Kelly Crossroads, Buffalo Crossroads, and Pleasant Grove.
Raised nearby, this is an area where I spent a lot of my childhood building rafts, fishing, and just being a kid!
Across the creek is the reservation for the Lewisburg Federal Pennitentary. In the fields nearby the cache, off of Airport Road once stood the Lewisburg Airport.
The cache that is hidden here is a .30 ammo box with log and pen as well as several small toys including a dino, hacky sack, matchbox, and a CD for FTF!
