Traditional Tupperware container hidden in the woods behind the Morningdale baseball field.
This cache is hidden in the woods behind the Morningdale baseball field. Park at W71 45.5563/N42 19.2164 then start up the path near the pumpkin coach. After that, it requires a short but strenuous walk off the path. If you find the right route, there are rocks to climb around but none to climb over. Be careful, can be slippery and not suitable for young children.
The cache is named after Mr. Gasik, an old gentleman who lived at the top of Morningdale Ave, at the base of the cliff. He built most of the houses in this neigborhood. When I was growing up, we used his hill and driveway to go sliding. At the top of the cliff, there are wild blueberry bushes (which, according to my mother, make the best pies). During the summer, each child in my family was required to pick one coffee can full, or we couldnt have any pie or muffins.
