Geocache Description:

Beautiful view of the reconstructed Anglican church.

St. Johns Anglican church was built in 1753 and it is the second oldest protestant church in Canada. It was designated as a provincial heritage site in 1982 and a national historic site in 1994. St. Johns is one of the 100 most endangered sites in the world. The majority of the church was destroyed in a horrific fire Nov.1, 2001. The church was reconstructed and is again open to parisheners.
The cache contained when hidden- logbook and stashnote, armour all wipes, volunteer power band, marble, lobster pen, EHS crest, Upper Clements crest and FTF "Bloonie" Please be careful when opening cache. This is a very popular tourist attraction and requires geocachers to be sneaky.
