9/1/08 - The big doggy fields are nearly the Forest Service's new headquarters but still a nice area. The construction gate may be closed but foot travel is welcome.
Increased the terrain difficulty though you will find the return trip easier.
The above coordinates are to the first part of the cache. You will need to solve a simple puzzle in order to get the coordinates that will take you to the ammo box.
1)Use the day and the year on the marker to find the numerical value of each letter. (Example June 23, 1974--June AB, CDEF--- A=2, B=3, C=1, etc....)
2)Plug in the number value to find the coordinates to the next cache.
Coordinates are:

***PLEASE*** Do not park on the sharp corner in front of the gate. There is a nice wide dirt shoulder on the left after you go around the curve.
