Site of another gold mine in Star Lake area which locals helped us discover. We also enjoyed reading up on the history of gold mining as well as other mining in a local Whiteshell history book.
Ammo box contains FTF certificate - FTFinder may also take one item of choice. Also contains logbook, pencils, and many other items for trading. Please re-hide cache well. We think this is the Moonbeam Mine site. If you have been involved in mining, please tell us your story. Enjoy the lovely hike, the beaver activity and scenery by the mine area (safely cemented shaft by now), but watch your step amongst the 'rusty leftovers'.
