This side of Paderewski Park features a 16 acre fishing pond. We
have included parking coordinates for the most scenic walk to the
cache. The path takes you near the shoreline on a sandy,
root-covered trail and then into the woods on a more traditional
hardpack type trail when you get closer to the cache. The cache is
located a very short distance off the trail.
For the first part of the hike, you will be walking close to the
shoreline and have to walk around large, rain-washed gullies in the
sand, so please be careful and keep and eye on children.
The park closes at 9 p.m., and leashed dogs are allowed, but I
wouldn't recommend this cache at night.
