Third in a series of 12 caches representing the required Merit
Badges that a boy must earn on his way to achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a youth can earn
in the Scouting program. When all 12 caches have been placed we
will have a permanent Travel Bug that you can discover to complete
your Eagle Project.
By the time a boy earns the First Aid merit badge he is
knowledgeable about:
- How to obtain medical assistance in an emergency
- How to prepare a first-aid kit
- Know the symptoms, first-aid procedures, and prevention methods
for conditions such as hypothermia, frostbite, dehydration, burns,
strains, and sprains.
- How to teach first-aid skills to others
Initial cache contents are various items that could be
associated with first aid.
Cache has been replaced by a small container. The tree trunk the
old cache was in has completely disappeared!! Rating has increased
to 3 due to size and location.
