the cache is in a red and black coffe can, it has all the usual cache items.
I'm sure it is obvious to all of you cachers that Benedicta Elementary School is no longer operating. Sadly enough due to a decline in enrollment it closed its doors in June of 2008. Over the years the facility has produced several remarkable students and staff members alike, but none so special as the group that I came to know and love....the group dubbed as the BES Kids Geocaching Team.
One student particularly stands out in my mind, 15 year old Joey Schweitzer who lost his life in a biking accident in December of 2008.
Sorrowfully, but proudly this cache is now known as the Joey Schweitzer Memorial Cache, dedicated to a bright and enthusiastic young man. You are missed Joey....spread your wings and fly!
