Geocache Description:

Cache is located about 200 yards from the parking lot of a Public Hunting Grounds. Trail is not groomed and could be wet at times.

Cache is a small plastic camo jar (Pleas bring a pencil I forgot to put one in) that contains small trade goods. The road to get to the cache is Ontario St and it exits Hwy 51 near the Quick Trip on the south side of Portage. It is mostly gravel and winter accesss will be determined by weather conditions. The cache is winter accessible if you can get to the parking area. This is DNR hunting land so dress accordingly. Al Raminger from the DNR trys to keep this area cleaned up but can always use your help.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Pat Kaiser of the Wisconsin DNR Poynette Office. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
