A Bridge Too Far Traditional Cache

Yes, the bridge was too far. Too far up for Chicken Marge and Chicken Kid to cross it. The bridge is in good shape and the river was beautiful but we don't care for heights. Don't let us stop you from crossing. The bridge crosses the North Fork of the Holston River. Don't drive on it (you couldn't if you wanted to). This is a public VDOT maintained bridge.

The cache name comes from the book and movie A Bridge Too Far. Written by Cornelius Ryan, the World War II epic was a historic telling of the failed attempt to capture several bridges to Germany in WWII. The failed campaign was called Operation Market Garden. Both the book and the movie were highly acclaimed by critics and the viewing audiences for it's realism and grand scale. Marge and I placed this cache after finding the Riverview Cemetery cache (GCY7NC) which is a short drive down the road. Maybe this will help draw more cachers to the area. After doing these two caches, you have got to climb to the On Top Of Men-do-ta....(GC9718) cache. It's grand!

The cache is a small magnetic key-holder. Please bring your own pen. It shouldn't be hard to find but you may have to look a little bit. If you want to make it easy see the hint.
