Help give Bald Mountain a good shampoo!

rain or shine...
Bald Mountain is a beautiful area close to Mount Umunhum. Its
summit is accessible through a short trail starting from Mt Umunhum
Road.
This trail, as well as the summit area are covered with litter and
could benefit from a good clean-up.
While the trail itself would need to be cleaned-up, the areas that
need the most help are the very steep slopes near the summit of
Bald Mountain and the event HQ at the gate on Mt Umunhum Road.
Accessing the area near the gate requires no hiking.
Parking will be limited on Mt Umunhum road and you might have to
park at the Woods Road parking lot. We'll provide transportation
from there to the event HQ (at the gate on Mt Umunhum Road).
Cleaning supplies will be provided. There is a lot of broken glass,
and if you have strong work gloves, you might want to bring them
with you.
To log this event as a find you will have to sign the logbook. For
this you'll have to have to bring a bag of garbage (that you will
have collected along the trail - don't bring garbage from home
) to the event HQ and have your
picture taken with it.
The MROSD is requesting that all participants fill out the
Volunteer Agreement and Release of Liability form. This form can be

Coming to the event with the form already filled out will be very
appreciated.
