paputnam: Phil's rule #1 from watching TV gameshows most of my life: trust your "first" instincts. My instincts tell me it's time to archive this cache, so I shall.

It's been a good run. Thanks to all who came. Now I can concentrate on the remaining 49 caches I need before I reach 500 finds. Once I complete this goal, I will be preparing the next generation of caches for you to find - I have a variety of containers at home to use.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Sacred Chalice of Rixx.

The original Sacred Chalice of Rixx has been described as an old, clay, moldy pot. It's 21st century counterpart is a clear plastic container that has been painted to match the surrounding terrain. It will make any ambassador from Betazed proud.

To find it, you need to go to the Ashman Balldiamonds in Midland. This is the site of a previous cache (Bases are Loaded) that was archived not long ago. It should be pretty obvious where you need to go. It should be pretty obvious also where the hiding place is.

There is a small ftf prize too. You can find it in the first page of the log book. For everyone else, there is an array of fine parting gifts that you can take and exchange.

NOTE: If you approach the cache from the direction Bigfoot15 took, be careful. There's a small ditch nearby and a couple of ruts. This is the reason for the 1.5 terrain rating. I nearly fell the first time I was getting coordinates back here.
