Congrats to FIRE2000 for getting the FTF and the rest of
Papabear's clan for being right behind him!!!
Placed in a utility right of way that got orphaned when they put in
the new highway. Since my daughter has probably been with me for
half of my finds, I let her pick the hide.
To celebrate my 100th find (WooHoo), I placed my FIRST CACHE: a
nice and easy .30 Cal ammo box in the woods - no tricks, honest
=-)
Park at N35 21.370 W079 13.876
Probably not handicap accessible,but no bushwhacking required.
You'll not find anyone more allergic to Poison Ivy than I am -
there is none around, tread safely. I live very close by, will
check on the cache, and swear to eradicate any PI that rears its
ugly head near this cache!!! So say we all!!!
Initial Loadout: I've stocked it with some travelbugs and coins,
two of which were collected at the NCGO Fall Event last weekend.
Since we are closing in on Halloween, I stocked it with some
Halloween themed SWAG that I let my 6yr old daughter pick out at
Target.
I'm also a big fan of the "PodCacher" Podcast. A great thing to
listen to while caching =-)
I've tossed in a couple of CD's of Sandy and Sonnie's show (found
at http://podcacher.com).
My disks are in standard CD format, so no iPod or MP3 player
required. I'll try and keep a couple of disks stocked at all times
- please, blank disks are cheap, snag them and give them a listen
in your car's CD player when you are heading off to your next
cache!!!
When you're done listening to it, drop it in another cache - cool!
