Hike 10 miles and call me in the morning. Thats my cold rememdy.
I placed this cache after completing the Deseret peak hike. I had planned to go to the geocaching event up in Logan but I had A cold and didnt think camping would be a good idea. So instead I choose to do what I thought would be a relaxing hike. I really struggled to get up to the first saddle at about 10,000'. I was coughing and had very little energy and several times I had thought about turning around. I am very glad I persisted on, after I reached that saddle and the view at the first saddle was rejuvenating, I was feeling much better. Who needs rest and medicine when the are views like that! The rest of the day was great! I even took the long way down from the summit. I took me about 3hrs 30 minutes to reach the summit and a very casual 4hrs 30 mintues to return.
I would have loved to place a few caches along the hike, there were so many great views and neat rock formations. However since it is Wilderness Land Geocaches are not allowed. So instead I plaed this micro up out of the way at the trailhead where I hope it wont get muggled.
