Geocache Description:

The terrain is a bit rough but is level and ok for the kid's.

This is Akela's home, a site put together by Aumsville Pack 405. Akela is our travel bug on his way to home from camp Yawgoog (a Boy Scout camp in Rhode Island).

4/16/08 I received an email from Marion parks dept. informing me that this park is closed from Nov. 1st through April 30th every year and that stepped up patrols from the Marion co Sherriff’s office would occur to keep "vandalism" from happening so lets not break any laws folks.

The canopy will play tricks on your GPS so don't be deceived!

It's always nice to find a travel bug so be sure to log if you take one, to keep our fellow cachers from having to chase ghosts. Thanks for visiting our cache and good luck!
