Geocache Description:

Very short walk from the suggested parking area. This is a very nice area within the Virginia Beach Courthouse complex.

Cunninghamia Lanceolata - China Fir; is native to Central and Southern China. Its wood is highly prized and used for many carpentry tasks. It is used as a specimen landscape tree. This China Fir is the largest of its species in Virginia.

Height: 76 Feet
Champion Points: 184
Trunk circumference: 7 Feet 9 Inches
Canopy spread: 53 Feet

This beautiful tree just sits here, unnoticed by the drivers who pass by daily, so I just had to do something to bring people here. There is a very large Magnolia tree right next to it, just as beautiful as the China Fir. Hope you enjoy visiting both.

Cache is a small bison tube.
