The 7th in our series of Lazy Caches.
These caches are designed for the weekday warrior who is looking to
do some caching on his/her lunch break. All of these lazy caches
will be setup so you can basically drive up and park directly next
to the cache. Note: Parking is nearby. This is an interesting
little place near the Urban Down-Town Fort Lauderdale. This
Sidewalk sized park has 1 bench and overlooks another section of
Tarpon River, which connects to the New River, which in turn
connects to the intracoastal and then out to sea from there. I
don't think you'll find mangroves like this anywhere closer to
downtown, this really is a unique spot that highlights a vanishing
part of the Florida habitat. To highlight what important hiding
places natural mangrove stands provide Florida's wildlife, I have
placed this cache among the mangroves. The cache is located about 1
foot off the ground.
