Oooh, A geocache named after the greatest and most wonderfully modest geocacher the world has ever known. I admire his greatness so much, I adopted the Spinning a Yarn cache idea for this one. As many of you fine, fellow cachers know, Rogheff is a shrubber.
Several years ago, he had an employee by the name of Dahmer Jefferies. Now Dahmer was a fair shrubber at best. He did marginal work. He was slow at planting shrubberies, sodding, brickwork, well...he was slow at the...well everything. I always wondered why until one day I took a really close look at his lunchbox.
That man had the most unusual lunches. It always smelled funny and looked disgusting. (I don't think the food was fresh). I think the lack of a proper diet was his problem. So being the good Scouter that Rogheff is, he offered to buy Dahmer lunch - ONE TIME - "Dahmer, I'll buy you lunch ONE TIME!" Starting the next day, I never saw the lunchbox again - ever!
That dirty begger conned poor Rogheff into buying him lunch every single day for the 27 years that he worked for him. Can you believe the nerve? Heck, Rogheff started making excuses to be absent at lunch time, "Jefferies, I have to go on a shrubbering appointment - I'll be back around 2:00". He'd always ask if Rogheff was bringing him lunch when he returned.
They had a big argument a couple of years ago over the lunch thing. Jefferies stormed off. I never saw him again. I'm not too terribly upset about it because he was easily replaced by some top-notch shrubbers.
Park in the soccer field parking lot - you'll have to bushwack for a tad.
